Four-year-old Dawson Stock was diagnosed with autism weeks before his 3rd birthday. During the time of his diagnosis, he would not respond to his name and would rarely make eye contact. Since then he has been engaged in a combination of speech therapy, occupational therapy and applied behavior analysis. According to his parents, these therapies have contributed to Dawson's growth and development. He now recognizes nursery rhymes and makes a conscious effort to connect with other children and play.
