Medical Enlisted Corps

The Medical Enlisted Corps is comprised of approximately 34,000 Total Force Airmen who fulfill critical roles in the success of the Air Force Medical Service delivering care to Airmen, Guardians, and their families.

Medical Enlisted Airmen from around the world perform in multiple capacities, ranging from assisting providers through a wide scope of scenarios, managing health care administration, overseeing resourcing and logistics for medical facilities, and more - all accomplished in the support and execution of high reliable care to approximately 2.6 million beneficiaries around the globe.
