Damage to the island of St. Maarten after Hurricane Irma. The storm destroyed much of the infrastructure on the island, and others in the Caribbean. As one of the first disaster relief assets on the ground, a small team of Air Force Special Operations medics helped deliver care to evacuees, provide on-the-ground information to their commanders, and help restore island infrastructure to prepare for large scale recovery efforts.
