  • What is a TRICARE Qualifying Life Event?

    Every year during TRICARE Open Season, you can enroll in or change your TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select health plan. But did you know that outside of TRICARE Open Season, you can only enroll in or make changes to your TRICARE Prime (including the US Family Health Plan) or TRICARE Select plan following a Qualifying Life Event (QLE)?
  • Missed TRICARE Open Season? There’s still time to act!

    If you missed TRICARE Open Season, you still have time to enroll. For this year only, you can enroll in or change your TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select plan through Dec. 31, 2018 for coverage starting on Jan. 1, 2019. You may also change your type of enrollment, like switching from individual to family coverage.
  • TRICARE open enrollment gives plan choices to beneficiaries

    Beneficiaries of TRICARE who want to make changes to their health care coverage are now able to do so during the TRICARE enrollment period that starts Nov. 12. TRICARE Open Season gives enrollees in the TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select plans the opportunity to review their health care options and make changes in coverage based on their needs.
  • Make 2019 enrollment choices today: Open Season underway

    TRICARE Open Season and Federal Benefits Open Season are underway. You now have until Dec. 10, 2018 to enroll in a new plan or change your enrollment between plans. The choice you make will take effect Jan. 1, 2019 and will remain in effect through all of 2019.
  • MHS Nurse Advice Line is only a call or click away

    As of April 1, 2018 the MHS Nurse Advice Line expanded to include additional health care support services. The advice line is available by phone, web chat or video chat to beneficiaries who are anywhere in the world with a military treatment facility – including Guam, Puerto Rico, Cuba, South Korea, and Japan.
  • Expanded TRICARE coverage for eligible National Guard and Reserve members

    Are you a member of the National Guard or Reserve? Did you receive 12304b orders for a preplanned mission? If so, you may now be eligible for TRICARE early eligibility and transitional health care benefits, the same as Reserve Component members who are activated in support of a contingency operation receive.
