The Battlefield Assisted Trauma Distributed Observation Kit, or BATDOK, is a mobile medical documentation tool developed by Air Force Research Laboratory researchers that collects patient information from various sensors at points of injury, making it easier for medical professionals to document vitals, administer critical care and integrate patient data. BATDOK was recently selected as the joint integrated electronic health record for point-of-injury and en route care by Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems, an office that provides medical information technology for military operations. AFGSC releases initial PCB survey results as the Missile Community Cancer Study continues to collect data from missile bases
A total of 900 samples were taken from surfaces in missile facilities at Malmstrom, F.E. Warren, and Minot AFBs. WEAR program enables Airmen and Guardians’ permissive TDY status to aid recruiting efforts
Airmen and Guardians looking to help inspire, engage and recruit the future force by participating first-hand in events that enhance the Department of the Air Force’s recruiting mission are encouraged to look into the We Are All Recruiters, or WEAR, program. Members may receive up to 14 total days permissive TDY to participate, with approval for WEAR program limited to those events where Airmen are directly speaking to potential applicants or influencers about Air Force opportunities; mere attendance at an event does not qualify.
