USAF, USA bring joint humanitarian aid to Beirut
In a joint endeavor to assist the Lebanese Armed Forces and the people of Lebanon, Soldiers and Airmen stationed in Qatar worked to load the first U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III with humanitarian aid Aug. 6, 2020. Members from the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, Air Mobility Command’s 8th Expeditionary Air Mobility Squadron and 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron on Al Udeid Air Base, and the Area Support Group-Qatar from Camp as Sayliyah worked to palletize food, water and medical supplies delivered to Beirut, Lebanon later that day.

Midnight Sun Guardians participate in Gobi Wolf 2019
The Mongolia National Emergency Management Administration, Mongolian Armed Forces and local Mongolian agencies partnered with their U.S. counterparts, including Airmen from the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, in Sainshand, Mongolia, during exercise Gobi Wolf 2019. The exercise centered around a simulated response to a catastrophic earthquake in Dornogovi Province.

TRICARE extends emergency prescription refills in North Carolina and South Carolina

The Defense Health Agency announced TRICARE beneficiaries in Georgia may receive emergency prescription refills until Sept. 20 if they need them as a result of Hurricane Florence.

TRICARE announces temporary suspension of physician referrals for beneficiaries in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia affected by Hurricane Florence
The Defense Health Agency announced TRICARE beneficiaries under mandatory evacuation orders in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia may see a provider in any location without a referral from their primary care provider due to the impact of Hurricane Florence. The waiver applies to beneficiaries in approximately 40 counties where state governors have ordered evacuations as Florence approaches.

Emergency TRICARE procedures in effect for Louisiana and Texas due to Hurricane Harvey
The governors of Louisiana and Texas have declared a State of Emergency due to severe flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey.
