  • 335th EMDOS Airman translates for Brooklyn CVC community

    Efforts have been underway for almost a month to bring the COVID-19 vaccine to people at the state-led, federally-supported Medgar Evers College Community Vaccination Center in Brooklyn.
  • 42nd MDG Airmen leave for deployment

    The 25 deployed Airmen, which included clinicians, nurses, pharmacy technicians, medical technicians, logisticians and administrative personnel, joined the 335th Air Expeditionary Group, comprised of nearly 150 Airmen from bases across the country. The 335th AEG will man a FEMA vaccination center in Brooklyn, capable of administering 3,000 vaccinations daily.

As part of the ongoing response to COVID-19, the federal government has launched the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 Vaccination. This new program is a collaboration between the federal government, states, territories, and 21 national pharmacies and independent pharmacy networks to increase access to the COVID-19 vaccine in the U.S.
