30th Medical Group Conducts New Training Program: MEDIC-X

U.S. Air Force Capt. Steven Ryan, 30th Medical Group associate administrator, group practice manager and readiness flight commander, and U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Alexandria Muse, 30th Medical Group public health technician, practice patient care during MEDIC-X training at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Aug. 30, 2023. MEDIC-X is an Air Force Surgeon General initiative and equips all medical personnel with foundational skills to elevate patient care, readiness, and casualty management. Coupled with Tactical Combat Casualty Care, it enables collaborative responses during manpower shortages and enhances survival in challenging scenarios.
