Frozen blood - JBER hosts mobile blood course

Students of the most recent frozen blood course learn how to work a Haemonetics ACP215 system, which deglycerolizes red blood cells at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sept. 24, 2021. The mobile blood course, traditionally located at Travis Air Force Base, California, was hosted by Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska to ensure the military’s capability to freeze, store, and transport blood for contingency operations.
