Thomas McCaffery, the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, joined Lt. Gen. Dorothy Hogg, the Air Force Surgeon General, and Maj. Gen. Lee Payne, the Assistant Director for Combat Support for the Defense Health Agency, in touring the 436th Medical Group, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations and the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, May 3, 2018. They visited Dover AFB as part of a Military Health System transformation effort, which began October 2018.
