Command ceremony for Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command

Joint service members render their final salutes to U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Ken Wilsbach during a change of command ceremony for Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command, Alaskan Command, and the Eleventh Air Force at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 24, 2018. U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Tom Bussiere replaced Wilsbach as commander. Family, friends, Arctic warriors and civic leaders from the surrounding communities attended the ceremony that was jointly-officiated by U.S. Air Force Gen. Terrence J. O’Shaughnessy, commander of the United States Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command, and U.S. Air Force Gen. Charles Q. Brown, the commander of Pacific Air Forces.
