Dee Dowis

Former Falcons quarterback Dee Dowis, a 1990 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, died Aug. 29, 2016 in a vehicle accident in Georgia. Among his numerous athletic achievements, Dowis finished sixth in the Heisman Trophy balloting in 1989, the highest finish for an Air Force player, and was inducted into the Academy's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009.
