Academy hosts STEM teacher bootcamp

Teachers Roger Tucker from the Colorado Springs School and Deborah Andrews from Timberview Middle School, both of Colorado Springs, watch as the robot strikes its makeshift pins to finish an exercise in robots, via the application of math, angles and robotic commands. The U.S. Air Force Academy hosted its annual STEM teacher boot camp July 19-21, bringing in 110 K-12 teachers from across Colorado and several other states, to improve STEM teaching skills.
