Wilford Hall hyperbaric chamber services temporarily relocate to Southwest General

Col. Michael Richards, 59th Medical Specialties Squadron Hyperbaric Medicine Flight commander, assess responses from patient Robert S. Kennedy in the hyperbaric chamber at the Southwest General Hospital Hyperbaric Wound Care Center, June 2 in San Antonio. The center is nationally accredited by the Underseas and Hyperbaric Medical Society. The 59th Medical Wing has temporarily relocated hyperbaric chamber treatment services to the center while a new hyperbaric treatment facility is being built on the San Antonio Military Medical Center Campus at nearby Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston. The wing plans to open its new facility later this year. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Jason Huddleston)
