Kadin Gazzaway, son of Tech. Sgt. Billy Gazzaway, the 21st Communications Squadron deputy chief of infrastructure, gets a stem cell transplant on Valentine’s Day 2006. Kadin passed away in May 2006 after a difficult battle with leukemia. The loss was hard for Gazzaway and the road to recovery was very rocky at the beginning, but got better when he sought counseling. (Courtesy photo)
