961st AACS gets new leader

U.S. Air Force Col. David Mineau, 18th Operations Group commander, passes the 961st Airborne Air Control Squadron guidon to Lt. Col. Kyle Anderson, 961st AACS commander, during the squadron's change of command ceremony on Kadena Air Base, Japan, July 2, 2015. The change of command is a traditional military ceremony in which the departing commander assembles the Airmen from the squadron for a presentation to the incoming commander. Anderson was the director of operations for the 961st AACS as well as a command pilot and an evaluator with 3,490 flying hours. He has served in support of Operations Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, and Enduring Freedom, flying over 200 combat and combat support hours. (U.S. Air Force photo by Naoto Anazawa)
