In June 2007, 4-year-old Ty Nordstrom caught a 7-pound catfish in Lake Kirby, Abilene, Texas. In October 2007, Ty faced an even bigger battle when he was diagnosed with non-rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. He died in November 2009, one month before his seventh birthday. Ty’s dad, Master Sgt.
