Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Jefferson, 93, visited the Academy Aug. 28 to attend a World War II Prisoners of War reunion. Jefferson, a Tuskegee Airman, was held at Stalag Luft III, a German POW camp in Sagan (now Zagan), Poland. He's holding the book he wrote about his experiences, "Red Tail Captured, Red Tail Free: Memoirs of a Tuskegee Airman and POW."
