Texas Mass Casualty Exercise tests military and civilian first responders

Hundreds of nursing students from various medical schools around the city of San Antonio congregated in the staging area at the Alzafar Shrine Temple, where they were moulage before heading to area hospitals and to Kelly Field Annex, Texas where a WC-130J Hercules awaited their arrival. Nursing students from seven medical schools from around San Antonio volunteered to become patients during the San Antonio Mass casualty exercise event, Sept. 19, 2013.
