G-I-Jones to the rescue

A 12-year-old boy sits in his hospital bed with a stuffed animal in the Craig Joint Theater Hospital on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Oct. 20. The boy recently had a surgery to help release pressure on his brain and is being treated for an infection. Prior to coming in he could barely walk or talk and now he is smiling. Jones is a native of San Antonio, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt. Stephenie Wade)
