Known to be a fighter, Staff Sgt. Jennifer Vaughan said that she had a lot to live for that included her 10-year-old sister, Molly Zimmerly, and her brother, Staff Sgt. Andrew Vaughan, who inspired her to join the Air Force and who is a firefighter stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. She is also close to her fiance’s three children and her parents who helped her through this ordeal.
