Remembering Technical Sergeant Sylvester McCullough

In remembrance during African-American History Month, Air Force Tech. Sgt. Sylvester McCullough, Aeromedical technician, went on a aerovac mission on Feb. 19, 1968 along with 12 other crew and passengers, to include a wounded Army infantryman, two wounded North Vietnamese POWs, and two wounded Vietnamese civilians, but his flight never made it back to the 903rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron in Phu Cat, South Vietnam.
