Staff Sgt. Cari Ellis, 21st Medical Support Squadron, 21st Medical Group, is a dynamic Honor Guard leader. She orchestrated and ensured completion of 34 funerals, 74 military events and 23 civil events. She serves as the team expert, instructing new officers on Honor Guard procedures, and instructing NCO Academy and Airman Leadership School students on proper drill movements for parades. She was hand-picked for the Air Force Space Command’s change of command ceremony. She is a master of resource scheduling. She oversees manning for a 13-plus member team, which provides 100 percent coverage of details in one of the largest areas of responsibility in the U.S. Sergeant Ellis is a role model and mentor to all 21st Space Wing Honor Guard Members.
