Trauma doctors gather to hone skills

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Lt. Col. (Dr.) John Mansfield, 332nd Expeditionary Medical Operations Squadron urologist, discusses a patient's CT scan, with an Iraqi surgeon from Balad General Hospital, before going into the operating room here, March 26. The Iraqi doctor visited the Air Force Theater Hospital in conjunction with the Joint Theater Trauma System conference held here March 24 and 25 to increase the interoperability of armed forces medical treatment facilities as well as civilian hospitals in theater.
