Capt. Ted Meek of the 88th Flying Training Squadron is the 80th Flying Training Wing's 2006 Flight Commander of the Year. Captain Meek distinguished himself in 2006 by producing zero findings during the Operational Readiness Inspection. He authored a new 62-page introduction to fighter fundamental threat guide used by 156 pilots to build a basis for warfighter knowledge. In his off-duty time, Captain Meek is a Boy Scout Troop Leader as well as a youth counselor at his church. Also pictured, left, Chief Master Sgt. Norman Thierolf, wing superindent, and 80th FTW Commander Col. Jeffrey Kendall. (U.S. Air Force photo/Harry Tonemah)
