Life-saving effort

Staff Sgt. Kristy Crochran, 379th Blood Transshipment Center NCO in-charge, prepares blood for shipment, Sept. 9, in Southwest Asia. The 379 BTC provides blood and blood products to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Horn of Africa and Naval ships to ensure these facilities have the blood supply they need.
