Mark Dusenberry pilots a replica Wright Flyer III he built over Huffman Prairie at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Oct. 5. Dusenberry was reenacting a record breaking flight at the same location 102 years earlier, when Wilbur Wright circled the field for 39 minutes. Dusenberry clipped a wing during a turn about 40 seconds into his flight, damaging both propellers and the undercarriage. Dusenberry was unhurt and said he plans to repair the aircraft to fly again.
