Capt. Mi Kim, a dentist from the 18th Medical Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan, and Philippine National Police Sergeant Baldwin Reyes perform the last tooth extraction of the day on 22-year-old Shierly Simulata during Operation Pacific Angel in Laoag, Philippines, Feb. 16. Shierly Simulata is a student from the Bible Believing Baptist Church Deaf School. The school made a special trip to the site for the medical, dental, and optometry services being offered as part of Operation Pacific Angel.
