Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) Mobile Course

U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Mark Dillon, 86th Airlift Wing commander, and Command Chief Master Sgt. Vernon Butler, tour the Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) training facility, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, March 17, 2010. The EMEDS course teaches and evaluates corps specific field situations as well as offers updates in Air Force Medical Service concept of operations and doctrine. It also teaches setup and packing out of a field EMEDS compound, deployed operations, field medical, nursing and operational support equipment proficiency, field exercises to both emphasize and evaluate learning of concepts taught.
