Air Force Staff Sgt. Carlos Meza, 298th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion medical services technician, inserts an intravenous needle into his patient's arm during his weekly medical refresher training at Shindand Air Base, Afghanistan, Aug. 6, 2011. Meza is a joint expeditionary tasking, or JET, Airman deployed to Afghanistan and is attached to the Army's 298th CSSB in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
