Capt. Emily Jarding of the 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron calibrates a heart defibulator at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, on Oct. 28, 2011, to prepare for a humanitarian assistance mission evacuating 26 injured freedom fighters from Tripoli, Libya. Two aircraft transported 26 seriously wounded fighters to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston, Mass. An additional five critical cases were transferred to Germany for immediate care.
