Capt. Holly Griffith places a pulse monitor on a mannequin during a critical care simulation exercise April 24 at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland, Texas. The training is part of the pre-deployment Battlefield Nursing Course designed to teach current trauma care concepts to U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy nurses and technicians, as well as foreign nationals.
