Maj. Holly O'Connor trains U.S. Army medical staff from the 28th Combat Support Hospital, Fort Bragg, N.C., and the 48th CSH, Fort George Meade, Md., April 24 at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, Joint Base San Antonio- Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. O'Connor, a registered nurse with the 59th Surgical Inpatient Squadron, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, was training the Soldiers on the use of in-theater medical equipment. The training is part of the pre-deployment Battlefield Nursing Course designed to teach current trauma care concepts to U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy nurses and technicians, as well as foreign nationals.
