Medal of Merit

RAMSTEIN AIR BASE, GERMANY -- Franco Ammirati, a retired civilian employee, displays his Medal of Merit inside Armstrong's Club here June 6, 2013. Ammirati received the MOM on May 3 during a small ceremony at U.S. Air Forces in Europe Headquarters here for 50-years of service to the men and women of USAFE. The medal is the second highest honor non-U.S. citizen employees may receive from the command. Ammirati said receiving the medal was the highlight of his career. U.S. Air Force Photo by Tech. Sgt.
