New Horizons 2018
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Emeriles Curry, 346th Expeditionary Medical Operations Squadron dental hygienist, provides dental care to a local man, May 11, 2018 in the Coclé Province of Panama. So far, in 2-weeks’ worth of Medical Readiness Training Exercises the teams, working in conjunction with the Panamanian Ministry of Health, have seen nearly 4,700 patients and 502 animals. The medical team is participating in Exercise New Horizons 2018, which is a joint training exercise focused on civil engineer, medical, and support service personnel’s ability to prepare, deploy, operate, and redeploy outside the United States. Trusted Care Heroes are all of us
Airman Justin Morris, 88th Medical Group Dental Assistant Technician apprentice, was named an Air Force Medical Services’ Trusted Care Hero for his efforts toward increasing patient safety and doing Zero Harm in August 2017. Dental Squadron from the 779th Medical Group at the Child Development Center
On Feb. 5, members of the Dental Squadron from the 779th Medical Group went to the Child Development Center on Joint Base Andrews to teach the kids about good dental health. Master Sgt. Millicent Cavazos, dental hygienist , talked to the children and answered their questions about brushing, flossing, rinsing, and eating healthy snacks.
