Researchers with 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio worked jointly with a private company, to develop a small, soft, injectable tissue oxygenation sensor that would let medics get a patient’s clinical information from the point of injury and throughout the continuum of care.
