Get Heart Healthy with TRICARE

For individuals already living with heart disease, you know maintaining a heart healthy lifestyle is key to both improving health and possibly reversing some of the effects of heart disease. TRICARE is hosting a webinar on Thursday, February 11, noon EST to help you get heart healthy.

The featured speaker for this event is Mark Haigney, MD, FAHA. Dr. Haigney is a board certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist trained at Johns Hopkins between 1987 and 1994. In 1994, he went on active duty with the USAF and was stationed at USUHS, where he has remained. He is currently a civilian Professor of Medicine and Pharmacology and director of the cardiology division of the department of medicine. His research focuses on arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death, as well as the impact of drugs and exercise on the heart. Dr. Haigney currently sees patients at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
