Air Force, Veterans Administration team to care for veterans Published May 6, 2015 Air Force Surgeon General Lt. Gen. Thomas Travis, left, joins Jack Hetrick, Network Director for Veterans Integrated Service Network, VISN 10; Col. Tim Ballard, 88th Medical Group commander; and Col. John Devillier, Wright-Patterson AFB Installation Commander, during a signing ceremony May 1 at WPAFB, which establishes the Buckeye Federal Healthcare Consortium. The landmark agreement will optimize the use of DoD and VA medical resources in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky by allowing the VA to send eligible veterans to the Wright-Patterson Medical Center for inpatient our outpatient services, expanding the current relationship between VISN 10 and DoD.
