Have you completed your bachelor's degree with at least 3.2 grade point average, are under the age of 33, and have been in the Air Force for a minimum of 3 years but not more than 10? If so, you may be eligible for the Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program.

"The Enlisted to Medical Degree Preparatory Program (EMDP2) offers active duty enlisted personnel the opportunity to complete the preparatory coursework for admission to medical school while maintaining an active duty status," according to the Air Force Personnel website.

Accepted applicants will undergo two years of full-time classroom instruction at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., and will also receive Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) preparation and clinical exposure to prepare for admission to medical school. Tuition and other miscellaneous academic costs will be funded by USUHS.

The deadline for submitting an Intent to Apply for the EMDP2 is Sep. 6, 2013. For more information on the eligibility requirements and program details visit MyPers website: https://gum-crm.csd.disa.mil/app/answers/detail/a_id/25699.
