TRICARE’s Maternity and Well-Child Coverage

FALLS CHURCH, Va., --  In honor of the month of the military child, TRICARE and Military OneSource are co-hosting a webinar to educate TRICARE beneficiaries about maternity and well-child coverage. The webinar will take place Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00PM EST.

Maternity (or pregnancy) care is all of the medical services related to conception and delivery. TRICARE covers well-child care from birth to age six. 

The featured speakers for this event are Valerie Palmer, JD and Barbara "Bobbie" Matthews. They are health care policy analysts with the Medical Benefits & Reimbursement Office at the Defense Health Agency (DHA). Mrs. Palmer is a licensed attorney in the states of Florida and Louisiana and has been with the DHA for 4 years. Ms. Matthews has been with the DHA and TRICARE/CHAMPUS for over 30 years.
