Continuing Education Corner: Pharmacy/NABP Number Issue

  • Published
  • DoD Patient Safety Program
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education continuing education credit is available to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who provide both their National Association of Boards of Pharmacy number and date of birth at the time of registration.

Please note that if you plan to request ACPE credit, you need to have your own NABP number. Keeping this is mind is important because using your organization's or department's NABP number is not permitted. In fact, any attempt to use an NABP number other than your own will, unfortunately, result in denial of ACPE pharmacy credits.

To avoid having any issues, please access the CPE Monitor - a resource that allows you to electronically keep track of CPE credits from all ACPE-accredited providers - by doing the following:

    -Set-up an NABP e-Profile
    -Obtain your six-digit number
    -Register for CPE Monitor

Due to ACPE guidelines, all credit awarded by ACPE-accredited providers to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be only available via CPE Monitor. Please sign up for your NABP number today by accessing the CPE Monitor here . Sign up is easy and there is no cost!
