Gen. (Dr.) Sean Murphy, the command surgeon at Air Combat Command visited Airmen assigned to the 4th Medical Group on Oct. 17, 2014, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. General Murphy took the time to interact with the Airmen assigned to the 4th MDG and received several briefings on future upgrades to the facility. As the ACC command surgeon, he is responsible to the healthcare of 81,000 active-duty and civilian personnel located at 14 bases, 13 medical treatment facilities and more than 300 operating locations worldwide. During the tour, several Airmen assigned to the group's various clinics were also recognized for their exemplary customer service and commitment to duty.
