TRICARE Online (TOL) patient portal currently down

FALLS CHURCH, Va. -- The TRICARE Online (TOL) patient portal is currently down. On July 5, a computer hardware failure caused an outage in the TRICARE Online patient portal. Engineers are on site in San Antonio, assessing the problem and developing a solution to return TRICARE Online to service as quickly as possible.

The Defense Health Agency will continue to provide updates to TRICARE Online users. In the meantime, system users should go to www.tricare.mil/outage and follow steps there to schedule or cancel appointments, refill and check status of prescriptions, access personal health data, or communicate securely with their provider.

About 250,000 users access TRICARE Online each week to schedule medical appointments, refill prescriptions and access their personal health care data such as test results. The system also sends regular appointment reminders to users who sign up for appointment alerts.

The Defense Health Agency encourages all TRICARE patients who use TRICARE Online for appointment reminders to check with their Military Treatment Facility if they have upcoming appointments.
