Master Sergeant SHARNESE C. FIORENTINO

Master Sgt. Sharnese C. Fiorentino is the Executive Officer, U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Master Sgt. Fiorentino is an advisor to the Commander and liaison for military leaders and civilian partners on behalf of the Aerospace Medical center of expertise. She is the focal point for communications on research, education and consultative services for the premier institute for education and worldwide operational consultation in Aerospace and Operational Medicine. She manages throughput of 450 officer decorations and evaluations and drives execution of the commander’s strategic intent. The school trains 5,000 Department of Defense, international and civilian students each year, services 6,000 requests for expert consultation, provides clinical, radiation, environmental, and industrial laboratory services, and manages a $37 million aerospace and operational medicine research portfolio spanning seven geographically separated locations.

Master Sgt. Fiorentino entered the Air Force in August 2012 as an aerospace medical technician. She has been stationed at locations in Texas, Illinois, South Carolina and Ohio. Her leadership experience includes flight chief for an operational medicine clinic, as well as flight Instructor at the 375th Aeromedical Squadron. Prior to her current position, Master Sgt. Fiorentino was a flight chief of the Flight and Operational Medicine Course at USAFSAM.

Master Sgt. Fiorentino has deployed as an aeromedical evacuation technician in support of Operation’s Freedom’s Sentinel and Resolute Support.
