Senior Master Sergeant VINCENT M. “BOSE” CHANDRABOSE

SMSgt. Vincent Chandrabose is the 433d Medical Group Senior Project Manager and 433d Aerospace Medicine Squadron Laboratory Superintendent at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. As a Project Manager, he is responsible for the facilities, information technology and electronic health record system implementation project portfolios. He advises the 433d Medical Group Commander on matters concerning infrastructure, medical systems and information technology equipment. He coordinates with mission partner organizations to synchronize operational planning activities and achieve strategic alignment.

SMSgt. Chandrabose is also performing the duties of the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Headquarters Air Force Surgeon General’s Office, U.S. Space Force Medical Operations Directorate. In this role he is supports two divisions, and coordinates with Headquarters Air Force Surgeon General Office staff and Air Force Medical Command leadership. He develops senior leader strategic communication products, coordinates with Space Force senior leadership, supports medical policy creation activities and engages with USSF Headquarters level Senior Enlisted Leaders.

SMSgt. Chandrabose enlisted in the Air Force in May 1998. He completed basic military training in September 1998. He was a Phase I honor graduate and Phase II distinguished graduate of the Medical Laboratory Apprentice Course. He assumed medical logistics and information technology company grade officer responsibilities during a critical two-year period. As the 433d Medical Group Project Manager, he led a ten-year strategic initiative to scope, fund, design, build and outfit a $9.9 million facility, which relocated three dislocated squadrons and the medical group staff into one building. He also led the largest reserve component medical unit transition to the Military Health System electronic health record.

SMSgt. Chandrabose also served as the Executive Officer for the Mobilization Assistant for the United States Space Force, Chief of Space Operations, and the Senior Executive Assistant for the Secretary of the Air Force, Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer. He also served as a Liaison Officer for the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Office during this period. Prior to his current position, SMSgt. Chandrabose was the First Sergeant of the 433d Aerospace Medicine Squadron, JBSA Lackland, Texas.
