Staff Sgt. Derek Ramos and his wife Emily, posing for picture at a recent Air Force ball, were killed Dec. 13 in an off-roading accident. Their two children survived the accident. Team Hill gathered for a memorial service at the base chapel and flags flew at half-staff on Dec. 17. Ramos was 34 years old and worked as the Non-Commissioned Officer-in-Charge of the Satellite Pharmacy, 75th Medical Support Squadron.
