Customizable medical kits help modernize USAF deployable assets, provide tailored solutions for warfighters

SCODs
The implementation of officer SCODs will occur in phases for Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard Airmen. The first SCOD for officers will begin with first and second lieutenants on Oct. 31, 2022, followed by colonels on Feb. 28, 2023, lieutenant colonels and majors on May 31, 2023, and captains on Aug. 31, 2023. Contract Awarded for Largest Overseas U.S. Military Hospital
Rendering of the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center Replacement (ROBMCR) project. The contract to build the largest U.S. hospital outside the United States has been signed, marking a significant step forward in progressing the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Medical Center Replacement (ROBMCR) project. The German Construction Administration, in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District and the U.S. Defense Health Agency, awarded a €859 million (approximately $969 million) contract to Züblin and Gilbane Joint Venture to construct a new hospital at Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany.

Starting with the 22E6 and E5 promotion testing cycles, the Air Force will begin using Situational Judgment Test questions as part of the Promotion Fitness Examination.
