Interservice Physician Assistant Program

IPAP Phase II

The IPAP Phase II Program at David Grant Medical center is dedicated to providing education, mentorship, and training from the world’s best preceptors for the clinical rotations required for graduation with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Active Duty, Reserve or HPSP members may also petition to complete some or all clinical rotations here. The IPAP is a combined Air Force, Army, Navy, Coast Guard Program that is currently located at both at Travis AFB and Ft Sam Houston AMEDDC&S. IPAP is the world’s largest PA program and the #11 ranked PA program in the U.S. The Travis AFB Phase II site graduates up to 12 PA students per year and also hosts students from several surrounding PA programs.
