Important information for military retirees about changes to the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program. The TRICARE Retiree Dental Program (TRDP) is ending on Dec. 31, 2018. If you are using the TRDP now and you want dental coverage after the TRDP ends, you can enroll in a FEDVIP plan during open season (Nov. 12 – Dec. 10, 2018). Please visit www.tricare.benefeds.com to learn more about your options. In general, the coverage offered under FEDVIP's nationwide dental plans is comparable to the dental coverage offered under TRDP. With 10 dental carriers to choose from, and some plans offering both high and standard options, FEDVIP offers you the flexibility to select the right coverage for you and your family. We recommend that you review all options available to you before making a decision.
