About us: Our mission is to build healthy military families through programs designed for the prevention and treatment of child and partner abuse. We offer new parent support services, Dads 101, common sense parenting, anger management, and couples communication classes in an effort to prevent family maltreatment. In situations where family maltreatment is suspected, military members should report their concerns to us or in an emergency call 911. We work with on-base and off-base law enforcement agencies, Department of Social Services, Office of Special Investigation, Judge Advocate General, and other pertinent agencies to best protect our military members and their families from escalating violence, and in ways to minimize the impact on incidents that have already occurred.
About us: Flight Medicine houses the Medical Standards Management Element, which offers special duty profiles, overseas medical clearances, officer training school profiles, re-training and special duty profiles and clearances. Flight medicine provides Primary Care to flyers and completes initial and annual flight physicals, as well as occupational health physicals.

Healthcare to Health, or H2H, is an initiative at Shaw Air Force Base focused on enhancing the health of beneficiaries and empowering them to lead healthy lives. There are two programs offered: Group Lifestyle Balance and 5210 Healthy Military Children. Group Lifestyle Balance is a group program for overweight adults that helps individuals reach their desired healthy lifestyle changes. The goals of the program are to achieve weight loss and increase physical activity. The 5210 Healthy Military Children is a health messaging campaign to promote healthy behaviors in all children throughout military communities. The focus is on four healthy behaviors children should try to achieve each day for good health: five or more servings of fruits and vegetables, two or fewer hours or screen time, one or more hours of physical activity, and zero sweetened beverages. There is no cost for either of these programs.

About us: We offer a full range of laboratory services for active duty, dependents, and retirees on a walk-in basis with a prescription from a local provider or your primary care manager. Specialty tests that cannot be completed on site are sent to an accredited laboratory for completion.

About us: Check in at the Mental Health waiting area. We provide comprehensive care for active duty personnel with an in-house psychologist, social worker and psychiatrist. Automated neurological assessment measurements can be completed here as well as overseas mental health assessment clearances. The clinic offers counseling services for a wide range of topics including and not limited to substance abuse, stress, depression, anxiety and sleeping difficulties. The Mental Health team is available to come out to all of Team Shaw to include, commander’s calls, unit meetings, spouses groups, lunch and learns, and other Shaw events.
About us: We offer annual eye exams, refractive surgery consultation and screening exams, contact lens services, ophthalmic disease management to include acute eye care, and spectacle repair and ordering for active duty. Dependents and retirees are seen on a space-available basis.
About us: Services are available for assigned active duty personnel with a referral from their primary care manager. Your primary care manager must refer you for physical therapy care in order to schedule an appointment. Our reserves the right to see active duty service members without a referral on a case-by-case basis. All other beneficiaries will be referred to a local network provider for physical therapy services. All initial appointments are scheduled by the Referral Management Center. All follow up appointments are scheduled by physical therapy staff. The Physical Therapy clinic does not treat neurology, cardiology, women’s health or complex vestibular cases. Physical training uniform or equivalent and appropriate athletic clothing is required for all appointments.

Our primary care clinics offer appointments for cold and flu, non-emergency medical illnesses, wellness check-ups, acute appointment care and appointments where you can receive referrals to specialty care if needed.
About us: Patient services include walk-in audiograms, initial deployment medical checklist appointments, and free travel medicine walk-in appointments for all patients. During a travel medicine appointment you will receive medical recommendations to consider when traveling and vaccination recommendations. Go to the immunizations front desk to receive recommended vaccinations. Air Force Deployment Related Health Assessments, or DHAs, with a credentialed provider can also be scheduled by calling the Public Health front desk.
About us: The radiology clinic offers routine X-ray services on a walk-in basis for active duty, dependents, and retirees who have a radiology prescription from a provider.
About us: We offer guidance and assistance after receiving a referral from your primary care manager. A typical referral takes three business days for TRICARE to authorize and assign you to an off-base specialty care provider. After three business days you can view and print your authorization online by logging into Humana Military. A paper copy of your referral will be mailed to your address within 10 days. About us: We serve active duty, reserve, and retired service members’ pets and military working dogs, and have the capability to perform vaccinations, X-rays, ultrasounds, blood work, lab work, and implant microchips.
About us: We provide services to include Pap screenings, breast exams, testing for sexually transmitted infections, and birth control prescriptions. No referral is needed to schedule these appointments.
